This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and exciting team as Corporate Governance Manager, where you will be liaising with clients, CEOs, Chairmen, policy makers and regulators on a diverse range of issues that affect the market and the value of our clients’ assets in the long term.

LGIM’s corporate governance team consists of 14 professionals which has a long standing commitment to raising environmental, social and governance standards of public companies. The team has grown significantly in the last five years in response to increasing demand from clients and is deeply involved in all aspects of corporate governance.  We carry out our stewardship responsibilities on behalf of the overall assets under management of approximately $1 trillion, also with bespoke solutions provided in each type of asset class and portfolio strategy.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and exciting team as Corporate Governance Manager on a Fixed Term basis. You will be liaising with clients, CEOs, Chairmen, policy makers and regulators on a diverse range of issues that affect the market and the value of our clients’ assets in the long term. Succession planning, diversity, climate change, pay, shareholder rights, listing rules are just some of the areas we cover internationally. You will be shaping the businesses we invest in by protecting, aligning and maximising value for our clients.

Key responsibilities

A Senior Governance Professional, who enjoys taking initiatives and having the responsibility of delivering projects to fruition. It is a demanding role that would stretch knowledge and capability, but one that will provide the reward of bringing about meaningful change in the market. They should demonstrate a passion for driving policies and providing long term sustainable investment solutions to our clients

 

  • Knowledge of global Corporate Governance trends
  • Engagement or advocacy experience across a variety of markets and topics
  • Research skills and analysis
  • Writing skills
  • Strong background in investments or asset management
  • Ability to interact with senior portfolio managers and analysts
  • A collaborative self-starter, able to work on their own, as part of a global team.
