The Marketing Analytics Executive ensures accurate and timely generation of data sets and reporting to support new business proposals (RFPs, RFIs), investment consultant databases, generic sales presentations and the provision of data and analysis for marketing purposes, on a regular and ad-hoc basis. Data is typically sourced from internal and external providers and the role holder will help shape and improve processes and also identify opportunities to utilise this data to assist in meeting business growth objectives.

The Marketing Analytics Executive ensures accurate and timely generation of data sets and reporting to support new business proposals (RFPs, RFIs), investment consultant databases, generic sales presentations and the provision of data and analysis for marketing purposes, on a regular and ad-hoc basis. Data is typically sourced from internal and external providers and the role holder will help shape and improve processes and also identify opportunities to utilise this data to assist in meeting business growth objectives.

The key accountabilities are:

Data management: to prepare quarterly datasets including assets under management, client numbers and the breakdown of investment staff by role.

New business support: to support sales and marketing initiatives, specifically with reference to data required for new business proposals (RFPs, RFIs), investment consultant databases, generic sales presentations and investment consultant requests.

Industry surveys: to collate relevant data from various sources to complete surveys according to the specification and obtain approval from various stakeholders. Issue final copy along with supporting documentation to the publication and save an electronic copy.

Third party data providers: act as main contact for selected data providers, ensure that relevant market intelligence is distributed to the business and identify analysis that will aid business development and knowledge of the markets in which we operate.

Ad-hoc marketing projects: produce and develop ideas for other external and/or internal marketing related data projects and marketing promotions.

Processes and procedures: Ensure procedures are in place, maintained and followed for assigned regular tasks.

The person in this role should have past experience of managing large amounts of data, typically in an operations, client reporting or performance function. Reconciliations experience is desirable.

They will be highly numerate with a good eye for detail.

A large part of the job will involve analysing data and formatting in a proactive, commercial and compliant way, and will be hands-on. Understanding of the underlying information and purpose is essential.

They will have some project experience and/or involvement in reviewing and re-engineering procedures.

Advanced Excel skills are essential.
