Support the Head of UK Consultant Relations in implementing overall strategy with all consultant relationships in the UK

Support the Head of UK Consultant Relations in implementing overall strategy with all consultant relationships in the UK

Support initiatives of engagement with professional independent trustees, in line with broader distribution business objectives, taking ownership of strategic and tactical planning where appropriate

Respond to incoming queries from consultants, working with Institutional Distribution, RFP and product specialist teams as appropriate

Develop direct relationships with investment consultants to further the strategic objectives of the team and business

Support and attend consultant meetings, ensuring excellent meeting hygiene including prep and follow ups completed

To update systems used for management information such as recording engagements with all consultants and Independent Trustees.

Support and co-ordinate with Institutional Distribution colleagues on regional engagement plans taking into consideration distribution targets for each business area

Demonstrate a good knowledge in areas such as LGIM products, brand, services and competitors in the market.

Develop and maintain knowledge of the current investment market, economic issues and LGIM’s views, enabling you to discuss solutions with clients and consultants.

To be involved with our corporate entertainment schedule and individual consultant events

To work with your colleagues to identify ways to streamline current processes and procedures in order that the team works more efficiently and effectively

Maintain excellent working relationships around key business areas at all times

Strong academic background

IMC qualified or studying towards qualification or equivalent

Experience providing an exceptional level of client service or sales support

Strong workflow management experience

Knowledge of investment industry and institutional client and consultant demands

Strong interpersonal/stakeholder management skills

Excellent written communication skills

Knowledge of current investment market and economic issues

Excellent  IT skills – salesforce experience useful

Must possess a good level of ‘gravitas’ and maturity

Highly team-orientated

Work to and share best practice

Highly organised
