The aim of this role is to bring investment analytics expertise – risk and performance in particular – to the team. It requires experience and understanding of our current analytics capabilities and solutions; how they are used by various business functions.

LGIM’s Global Analytics team is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining a firm wide strategic source for instrument, portfolio and client level analytics. This involves evaluation, selection of off-the-shelf analytics service provider(s), methodologies and utilizing internally built solutions that are able to support LGIM’s complex investment analytics needs.

The person in this role must have the ability to understand and challenge existing methodologies and practices; needs to be instrumental in defining a new suite of risk and attribution solutions by utilising internal and external solutions.


  • Collaborative, and able to demonstrate and promote effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Investments, Data, Risk, Distribution).
  • Real drive towards and focus on quality – delivering accurate and excellent service to the company and to stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical skills, fast thinker and a good decision maker
  • Demonstrable experience in similar analytical role(s) and has an appreciation of industry best practice but willing to take a pragmatic approach where required.
  • Understands LGIM’s existing analytics capabilities, strength and weaknesses
  • Has experience engaging with and influencing support areas
  • Ability to see and deliver smart, scalable solution with the wider business in mind.
  • Good and clear communicator, with the ability to influence.
