This role will primarily support the ETF product development and management function within LGIM. This is a new opportunity to get involved in a rapidly expanding area of LGIM’s business as we seek to expand our product offering into the wider European market

This role will primarily support the ETF product development and management function within LGIM. This is a new opportunity to get involved in a rapidly expanding area of LGIM’s business as we seek to expand our product offering into the wider European market. The successful candidate will work closely with all members of the Canvas team and other LGIM teams.

Role responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing periodic and ad hoc filings for listings and registrations.
  • Assisting with updates to prospectuses, fund supplements and KIIDs.
  • Arranging shareholder notifications and associated announcements and notifications to listing authorities and regulators.
  • Managing the annual AGM process for the ETF issuer (and any ad hoc EGMs) including liaising with investors and intermediaries re. proxy form queries and procuring votes and preparing associated announcements and notifications to listing authorities and regulators.
  • Helping coordinate and prepare reports for Board Meetings and Monthly Risk and Delegate Committee Meetings and reviewing minutes.
  • Assisting with the on boarding of Authorised Participants.
  • Assisting with preparing answers to RFP questions relating to the ETF platform.
  • Assisting with general administration activities within the ETF team.
  • Assisting with the annual Audit process and preparation of (1) corporate governance disclosures, including assisting with the relevant preparatory work, (2) Directors’ Report and (3) other disclosures associated with the ETF issuer and management company.
  • Must be able to evidence prior experience as a Paralegal (or comparable role)

  • Experience of preparing listing applications for new listings of ETFs on European stock exchanges.

  • Experience working with and managing the on-boarding process for Authorised Participants.
  • Experience of preparing new country registrations, including preparing country supplements and working with local legal counsel in various European jurisdictions.
  • Experience with preparing updates to prospectuses, fund supplements and KIIDs and managing updates to existing product suite across the various foreign registrations.
  • Experience of drafting and project managing shareholder notifications and associated announcements and notifications to listing authorities and regulators.
  • Experience with managing the annual AGM process for an ETF issuer including liaising with investors and intermediaries re. proxy form queries and preparing associated announcements and notifications to listing authorities and regulators.
  • Experience drafting and coordinating reports for board meetings and committee meetings and reviewing minutes.
  • Experience drafting responses to RFP questions for one or more asset managers.
  • Experience assisting with the annual audit process and preparation of (1) corporate governance disclosures, including assisting with the relevant preparatory work, (2) Directors’ Report and (3) other disclosures associated with the ETF issuer and management company.
