This role will primarily support the ETF product development function within LGIM. This is a new opportunity to get involved in a rapidly expanding area of LGIM’s business as LGIM seeks to expand its product offering into the wider European market

This role will primarily support the ETF product development function within LGIM. This is a new opportunity to get involved in a rapidly expanding area of LGIM’s business as LGIM seeks to expand its product offering into the wider European market. The successful candidate will work closely with all members of the Canvas team and other LGIM teams in relation to the scoping, development and launch process of new ETFs as well as changes to the existing product suite.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Researching product structuring queries and advising on solutions.
  • Reviewing and drafting product-related content in marketing materials, factsheets.
  • Working with in-house quants to review index materials and advising on methodology, content of methodology and governance structures.
  • Familiarity with various relevant regulations including UCITS V, MIFID II, Benchmark Regulations, etc.
  • Arranging listings for new products and maintenance.
  • Arranging foreign registrations for new products and maintenance.
  • An understanding of regulatory issues facing the ETF platform.
  • Drafting fund supplements, prospectus and KIIDs.
  • Assisting with the Audit process and preparation of the corporate governance disclosures etc associated with the ETF issuer's premium listing on LSE.
  • Experience researching product structuring queries and advising on solutions.
  • An understanding of market trends/developments and regulatory issues facing UCITS ETF platforms in Europe and globally.
  • Experience gathering market intelligence on existing product offerings in the market as part of the scoping work involved in the creation of new products.
  • Good working knowledge of financial instruments and investment strategies found in ETF structures (namely, equities, bonds, indices).
  • Experience with investment writing and drafting product-related content in marketing materials, factsheets.
  • Experience of financial indices, their construction and advising on content of methodology.
  • Familiarity with various relevant regulations including UCITS V, MIFID II, Benchmark Regulations, etc.
  • Experience coordinating listings for new products and maintenance.
  • Experience coordinating foreign registrations for new products and maintenance.
  • Experience drafting fund supplements, prospectus and KIIDs.
  • Management experience.
