To manage the dynamic range of funds on the Workplace platform, supporting the development and delivery of market leading, compliant Workplace DC products, propositions and investment solutions

To manage the dynamic range of funds on the Workplace platform, supporting the development and delivery of market leading, compliant Workplace DC products, propositions and investment solutions. To oversee the fund range in supporting a market leading vision and strategy for Workplace DC proposition in support of LGIM DC targets and ambitions for market share.

Oversight of the portfolio of investment funds available for clients and members of the Workplace products, meeting the needs and expectations of identified customer groups.

Ensure that all investment funds and solutions comply with industry regulations and mitigate any potential operational and legal risks to which Legal & General Investment Management might be exposed.

Utilise and adhere to the product process to ensure products/funds are launched, maintained and closed in accordance to Product Lifecycle Management.  Deliver in line with Legal & General’s Customer Experience and Treating Customers Fairly policies.

Support Workplace DC Product team’s adherence to the Risk Management Framework, ensuring that identified risks recorded across the team on the central risk management system are regularly reviewed and consistently managed in partnership with the Operational Risk team and colleagues within other Workplace & LGIM teams as required

Own technical oversight of the fund range including pricing activities, corporate actions, fund generation variances, box management and any remediation activities in line with ABI Guidance and at levels that permit fairness to all policyholders.

Owning of fund management information for the investment proposition, driving efficiencies into the sourcing and sharing of data across relevant business channels; Product, Investment Only Platform, Fund Governance, Marketing Communications, Distribution, Operations.

Interface with other internal business areas and external third parties where relevant to ensure investment data remains up to date and accurate.

Own the regular review of data from LGIM and external managers that impact costs and charges, risk warnings and fund data/objectives.

Respond to queries from internal business units in regards to the technical aspects of the fund range (availability, pricing, etc).

Develop close working relationships with colleagues throughout LGIM, thereby achieving agreed business critical objectives either internally or externally with clients or intermediaries as relevant.

Qualifications:

  • Business, Compliance, Accounting or Finance Degree
  • Ideally the jobholder will have a CFA, CAIA, IMC or other qualification

Knowledge:

  • Experience and knowledge of DC workplace pension product, proposition and investment solution design and strategy, and of corporate client needs
  • Experience within the investment proposition and strategy team of a provider, asset manager and/or EBC
  • Experience of fund databases, pricing, box management and fund governance requirements.
  • Relevant experience of unit linked funds

  • Demonstrable analytical and excel skills
  • Detail focused and process driven approach
  • Ability to meet conflicting priorities to challenging timelines
  • Proven delivery track record in an investment technical role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
