Key Accountabilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Take ownership of and maximise performance from their individual portfolio which will mostly comprise of office assets though there will be scope to manage assets in other classes. Current assets include major Central London holdings in West End and Farringdon, and asset repositioning strategies in Weybridge, Cambridge and Cardiff amongst others.
  • Assist in the preparation of the Annual Fund Strategy
  • Take ownership for identifying and executing value add opportunities across the assets
  • Manage third parties on rent reviews, lease renewals and void re-lettings to maximise income
  • Assist in the sourcing of appropriate investment and development opportunities
  • Research, model and carry out due diligence in the purchase and disposal of assets
  • Liaise with the Fund’s valuers, managing agents and solicitors
  • Assist in the Fund reporting both internally and externally
  • Develop and maintain good contacts with key advisors, landlords and tenants

Requirements

  • High calibre individual, dynamic and professional, capable of imaginative thought leadership, balanced with commercial reasoning and a drive to implement.
  • MRICS
  • 5-10 years post-qualified experience.  Whilst not necessarily coming from an asset management role, it is anticipated that the successful candidate will demonstrate a strong awareness of this function, together with a solid investment acumen and an energetic approach
  • A strong track record of experience within the office sectors is required for this role.
  • An innovative approach to identifying and implementing ways to release value from existing assets
  • IT literate with a good working knowledge of valuation software and Excel
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • A team player and a good communicator
