Working within an Agile framework, the candidate will be required to understand different aspects of LGIM’s business (front to back), and the different technology solutions utilised by LGIM’s business areas. The candidate will need to be a self -starter who can drive business solutions from start to end.

The person filling this position will interact with a number of people across both IT and the business, so it is essential they possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Work with relevant business teams to deliver value added technology services and capabilities.
  • Gathering, identifying and documenting requirements using different agile methods e.g. user stories/workshops.
  • Analyse and validate the business needs of department stakeholders using Agile methods
  • Work closely with developers and testers to ensure sprint goals are achieved.
  • Provide support to both developers and testers to enable continuous delivery of value add solutions.
  • Identify improvements within role/team.
  • Proven track record of delivering software solutions following an agile framework.
  • Experience with sprint planning, story estimation and continuous delivery.
  • Experience of the full end to end software development life cycle in an agile framework.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Proven ability to analyse and manipulate data to decipher business meaning and solve business problems.
  • Confidence in communicating with business users across different business units.
  • Demonstrate ability to coherently construct and present business and/or system requirements based on input from various sources.
  • Ability to document requirements using different methods, e.g. BPMN, User Stories, UML.
  • Familiarity with technical scripting tools and languages e.g. Python, Perl and SQL.
  • Knowledge of the asset management industry is preferable.
