Working within an Agile framework, the candidate will be required to understand different aspects of LGIM’s business (front to back), and the different technology solutions utilised by LGIM’s business areas as well as providing input to the innovation of new technologies and solutions. The candidate will need to be a self-starter who can drive business solutions from start to end as well as enabling others to do the same.

The person filling this position will interact with a number of people across both IT and the business, so it is essential they possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Provide structure and guidance to other BA’s within the scrum team (project dependent).
  • Collaborate with business partners to manage and deliver value add technology services and capabilities to the business.
  • Analysing and validating the business needs of department stakeholders using Agile methods
  • Working closely with stakeholders from Risk, Operations and Distribution to influence and deliver change to the benefit of LGIM.
  • Collaborating with other team members ensuring disciplines and standards are met in order to continuously deliver change effectively.
  • Act as a communication lead between different stakeholders.
  • Document requirements using different agile methods e.g. user stories.
  • Collaborate with other lead BA’s across L&G to create a BA community of practise.
  • Identify, facilitate and drive improvements across the scrum team(s) and across the wider organisation
  • Proven track record of providing software solutions following an agile framework.
  • Experience sprint planning, estimation, delivering stand up meetings, work shop facilitation and continuous delivery.
  • Experience of the full end to end software development life cycle in an agile framework.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Proven ability to analyse and manipulate data to decipher business meaning and solve business problems.
  • Confidence in communicating internally at all levels. Candidate will be dealing with front office, middle office and technology teams on a daily basis who are both business and technically sophisticated
  • Demonstrate ability to coherently construct and present business and/or system requirements and solutions based on input from various sources
  • Ability to document requirements using different methods, e.g. BPMN, User Stories, UML.
  • Competence using technical scripting tools and languages e.g. Python, Perl and SQL.
  • Asset Management knowledge and or experience is essential.
