LGIM are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with proven MiFiD experience. Working within an Agile framework, the candidate will be required to understand regulatory and business requirements technology solutions for the initiatives, and work with a number of development teams spanning multiple technologies to ensure its implementation.

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest European investment management businesses. LGIM is requires a talented individual to take on the role as a Business Analyst for a number of Regulatory technology projects including MiFID II, EMIR and SFTR to deliver strategic business outcomes.

The person filling this position will interact with a number of people in IT and the business, so good verbal as well as written communication skills are of paramount importance.

  • Working effectively in a collaborative and innovative Agile team-oriented environment
  • Analysing and validating the business needs of department stakeholders using Agile methods
  • Working closely with the Product Owner to determine priorities
  • Organizing and managing multiple tasks
  • Working closely with developers and quality assurance to further enhance software solutions
  • Ensuring stories follow the “INVEST” criteria and acceptance criteria is clear 
  • Helping to define the definition of done
  • Assist in keeping process and user documentation up to date
  • Working closely with the Development and QA teams to build on skill set and become a cross functional member of the scrum team
  • Cross-functional with requirement to perform some QA
  • Ability to quickly understand the full end-to-end functionality of all components within a complex architecture
  • Good understanding of the regulatory landscape and MiFiD and SFTR in particular
  • Able to collaborate with business owners and implementation teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Working experience to dealing with large stories and converting to Epics and vertical slicing approach.  Comfortable working closely with Product Owner and communicating with SCRUM team.
  • Able to provide a cross functional approach to thier duties and happy to help out on testing when required
  • Good understanding of the Agile framework and knowledge of the roles and responsibilities within a working environment that adopts SCRUM
  • Managing Stakeholders across various levels of an organisation.
