You will work within the Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) team on various projects. The team develops integration solutions for Enterprise and External Systems throughout the organization .Projects are across all business areas integrating all of LGIM’s systems. This means you will be collaborating and working with other wider initiatives too.

  • Accountable for ensuring the business and technical architecture of the delivered solution matches customer technical and functional requirements, and commits to Customer Success (realization of business benefit)
  • Architect, design, and develop advanced Business applications using Pega PRPC and other Pega capabilities.
  • Analyze business and system requirements, design & Integrate multiple technologies using Pegasystems.
  • Map functional requirements to technical requirements, Pega features and capabilities.
  • Provides architecture, design guidance & best practices to project teams.
  • Manage technical project team members (onshore and offshore) and provide direction and technical specs  to developers
  • Optimize solutions by performing detailed design and code reviews.
  • Disseminate best practices on design, solution and delivery
  • Mentor team members in Pega technology best practices.
  • Contribute to the management of the project by giving required MI/input within the required timeframes
  • Keep abreast of technological developments/ new products. 
  • Participates in the development of additional consulting opportunities across projects where appropriate.
  • Pega Certified Lead System Architect.
  • Solid IT experience with n-tier, database and client server design/development.
  • Proven hands on experience working as the Pega Lead System Architect.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture and SOA services
  • Experience in creating frameworks and enterprise wide applications
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment.
  • Good analytical and written skills.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a team environment
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Consulting or client service delivery experience
  • Multiple software development life cycle (SDLC) experience
  • Specialization in functional area (CRM, deployment, etc.) or industry domain expertise
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and articulate them.
  • Attention to detail as well as being able to see the bigger strategic picture.
  • Expertise and good understanding of Relational Database Management Systems including architecting and designing for performance and scalability and working with Object to Relational Mapping schemes for distributed data access
  • Practical implementation of Integrating of 3rd Party products.
  • Personable individual with good communication and influencing skills. Comfortable in dealing with IT and Business team.

Desirable

  • Exposure to Pega CLM Framework.
  • Consulting and hands on experience on DevOps and CICD tooling.
  • An agile mindset and working knowledge of Agile Development.
  • Exposure to and good understanding Investment/fund management or Institutional Banking.
