Provide the Vision/Goals for data products in line with the LGIM Data Strategy.

  • Provide the Vision/Goals for data products in line with the LGIM Data Strategy.
  • Collaborates closely with business/consumers to understand business requirements and priorities to define the data roadmap.
  • In conjunction with the scrum team ensure the data product backlog is sufficiently deep and pipeline of stories are ready to work on in time.
  • Direct analyst activity to deliver the data product backlog items that align to vision/goals.
  • Collaborate with the Scrum Team to deliver the product vision and roadmap.
  • Manage the priority of the Product backlog in consultation with stakeholders.
  • Sign off when data product increments are ready to be released.
  • Collaborate with other product owners and coordinate any dependencies.
  • Ensure data is transitioned successfully into BAU with the appropriate governance.  
  • Communicate the release of product increments to the business.
  • Apply data principles and challenge, where necessary, anything that may compromise the integrity, flexibility and quality of data services offered.
  • Be proactive in the identification of opportunities to centralise data and onboard consumers to strategic data sources.
  • Identify and escalate key issues and decisions to the Head of Data Product Ownership and Governance.
  • Become a subject matter expert with respect to the operational data services and needs of the community of Investment Consumers.
  • Support the wider function by contributing to best practices, processes and principles to ensure success and improvement of the team as a whole.
  • Self-starter who is able to manage time, work with limited supervision, prioritise work, and pay attention to details.
  • Experiencing of leading change.
  • Demonstrate a passion for data and achieving good outcomes for stakeholders/consumers.
  • Demonstrate accountability.  
  • Demonstrate an openness to feedback to adapt and improve.
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of Asset Management, Investment process and the usage of data for Investment purposes including the technologies used to deliver data.
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders, managers, and subject matter experts, in the Front Office, building positive and productive relationships.
  • Ability to assimilate multiple complex or abstract requirements into simple products.
  • Demonstrate ability to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Demonstrates the technical knowledge to be able to engage with scrum teams.
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment.
  • Ability to run workshops to gather requirements.
  • Ability to visualise and communicate the product roadmap.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
