This permanent role will join the Real Assets Data Services team and report to the Systems Data Analyst in LGIM Real Assets.

This permanent role will join the Real Assets Data Services team and report to the Systems Data Analyst in LGIM Real Assets.

The Real Assets Data Services team is dedicated to providing a first-class service to the Real Assets division.

The purpose of the role is to:

  • Ensure strategic partners maintain adherence to LGIM Real Assets data quality standards to ensure robust and reliable information persists across the platform.
  • Collate data for Real Estate Investment Funds consisting of over 750 commercial buildings across a multitude of sectors including: - Offices, Retail, Leisure and Industrial.
  • Track progress of data upstream to ensure it reaches intended stakeholders by specified timetable, raising support cases where necessary to resolve.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of any issues being resolved to preclude distribution of incorrect information.
  • Provide Front to Back office support related to data request and queries working with both technical and non-technical teams internally and externally.

Principal accountabilities:

  • Monitor daily scheduled finance data loading tasks to ensure that LGIM Fund Accounting receive all required data in timely fashion to cut daily unit prices and Fund NAVs;
  • Ensure timely non-financial data uploads from third party sources (i.e. Managing Agents, Property Valuers and Performance Benchmark providers) are achieved and exceptions eradicated before committing data to the warehouse.
  • Develop Maintain data control processes, standards and governance throughout the data pattern.
  • Work with relevant teams to resolve technical issues.  
  • Identify areas of data requiring further conditioning then propose rules to improve or eradicate data issues.
  • Support the LGIM Real Assets Front Office in ad-hoc data queries and field requests from the wider L&G Group where data sharing is permissible. 
  • Support onboarding of new third parties undertaking data submissions.
  • Monitor data imports from data aggregation tool to upstream systems and report exceptions to SLA.
  • Understand the key data flows relied upon by the real estate business to feed the data aggregation tool, fund modelling tool, data warehouse and various other applications.
  • Understand the data control processes, standards and governance throughout the data pattern.
  • Identify areas of data requiring further conditioning.
  • Liaise with Real Assets Knowledge Cell and Business Analysts where appropriate.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

Experience/Qualificatins:

  • Held a data-related role for at least 2 years

Knowledge:

  • Data management and Governance.
  • Familiar with data security and privacy.
  • Accustomed with databases including structured and unstructured.
  • Performing data regression testing plans.

Skills:

  • Advanced Level ofuse ofExcel knowledge.
  • Reconciling multiple datasets to create a master.
  • Data visualisation skills advantageous.
