Provide the Vision/Goals for COM products in line with the LGIM business and technology strategy

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/responsibilities:

 

Provide the Vision/Goals for COM products in line with the LGIM business and technology strategy.

Collaborate closely with business/third parties to understand requirements and priorities to define the product roadmap.

In conjunction with the scrum team ensure the product backlog is sufficiently deep and that a pipeline of stories is ready to work on in time.

Undertake direct analyst activity to deliver the product backlog items that align to the COM vision/goals.

Collaborate with the scrum team to deliver the product vision and roadmap.

Manage the priority of the product backlog in consultation with stakeholders.

Sign off when product increments are ready to be released.

Collaborate with other product owners and coordinate any dependencies.

Ensure data and process is transitioned successfully into BAU with the appropriate controls and governance.

Communicate the release of product increments to the business.

Apply process/organisational design principles and challenge, where necessary, anything that may compromise the integrity, flexibility and quality of COM services offered.

Be proactive in the identification of opportunities to standardise processes and improve the scalability, resilience and quality of the COM services offered to internal and external customers.

Identify and escalate key issues and decisions to the Head of Fund Services and Reporting.

Become a subject matter expert with respect to the COM cash flow and fund order services and needs of the community of Investment teams.

Support the wider function by contributing to best practices, processes and principles to ensure success and improvement of the team as a whole.

Work with vendor management in the sourcing of new data or solutions and provide early sight of any additional costs that may be incurred through change.

Ensure usage of master data for COM solutions within the parameters internal data governance rules or appropriate third party agreements.

Candidate Profile

Self-starter who is able to manage time, work with limited supervision, prioritise work, and pay attention to detail.

Experience of leading change.

Demonstrates a passion for achieving good outcomes for stakeholders/customers.

Demonstrate accountability.

Demonstrates openness to feedback to adapt and improve.

Demonstrates an excellent understanding of Asset Management, the fund order process and the end to end order life cycle including and understanding of the role and responsibilities applicable to Transfer Agents.

Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders, managers, and subject matter experts, building positive and productive relationships.

Ability to assimilate multiple complex or abstract requirements into simple products.

Demonstrate ability to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Demonstrates the technical knowledge to be able to engage with scrum teams.

Experience of working in in a lean agile environment (experience of SAFe for lean enterprises preferred).

Ability to run workshops to gather requirements.

Ability to visualise and communicate the product roadmap.

Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
