Work closely with the leadership team across Institutional Distribution to gain insight into the evolving sales strategy and associated impacts. Translate this sales strategy to inform the impact on the operating model of the firm, and any risks that need to be addressed.
Developing the team
- Working with managers and individuals in the team, ensure that we have the required capabilities by developing and hiring the skills needed to deliver meet LGIM’s objectives.
- Having a clear understanding of the capacity of the team and the developing priorities of the business, ensure that we allocate our resources effectively and responsively.
- Continually assess the structure and responsibilities of the team, both within the Implementation team and relative to other functions to ensure that we are optimally set up to deliver a best in class service to our clients.
Work closely with the leadership team across Institutional Distribution to gain insight into the evolving sales strategy and associated impacts. Translate this sales strategy to inform the impact on the operating model of the firm, and any risks that need to be addressed.
Develop strong working relationship with managers across stakeholder teams to ensure they have insight into, and are developing their teams to meet the ongoing and changing demands of the Implementation pipeline and Distribution strategy
Working with Product Development and Risk Management, develop the governance framework to ensure that new product risks are clearly understood and considered, and that the implementation process adheres to L&G’s product lifecycle management policy.
In partnership with the relationship teams, build relationships with key clients and consultants such that we understand their expectations and experiences of LGIMs Implementation Management service. Using that feedback, drive continual improvement in the process to influence positive client ratings of our onboarding service.
Provide thought leadership to develop the team’s systems and processes such that we maximise efficiencies, while providing a transparent, high quality client experience
Extensive experience working within a medium to large size asset manager servicing Institutional clients
Has proven leadership experience, having managed and developed teams responsible for Client Onboarding and change
Can demonstrate a strong understanding of the asset management industry and the products and services delivered to Institutional clients
Has a strong understanding and proven track record of how to use technology to develop tools that can transform processes and deliver high quality client experience
Degree educated (or equivalent) and/or industry relevant qualifications
Has a good understanding of the regulatory changes that impact Asset Management and our clients
A good team player, that has credibility when engaging at all levels of and organisation, demonstrating good communication and relationship-building skills
