Contribute to achieving the unit trust and PMC sales targets on business from Third Party and Strategic accounts, discretionary brokers and IFAs.

Provide high quality support to the sales management team and allocated strategic accounts the span across both our Retail and Institutional client base.  Act as interface between both sales teams and other areas of the business including marketing, operational and fund management teams.

Provide high quality support to the sales management team and allocated strategic accounts the span across both our Retail and Institutional client base.  Act as interface between both sales teams and other areas of the business including marketing, operational and fund management teams.

  • Contribute to sales activity by co-ordinating meetings, emails and client follow up. Be proactive in identifying sales opportunities and communicating these to the Investment Sales Managers.
  • Utilising experts from around the business, work with the Senior Sales Managers to project manage complex DC third party platform client activity including transitions and restructures.
  • Provide dedicated sales support to investment sales managers and senior members of the Sales Support team, including maintaining an organised database of consolidated information, supporting material and records of sales activity.
  • Provide consolidated information obtained from category management, marketing, fund operations, client servicing and fund management areas to the sales team for use in the sales process.
  • Act as a conduit between the sales team and the above areas of L&G to ensure the demands of the sales effort are delivered satisfactorily.
  • Maintain high level knowledge of L&G Investment range, including unit trusts, PMC, ICAV and SICAV and the investment philosophy and process working closely with LGIM where necessary.
  • Provide high quality support to intermediaries dealing with technical queries both pre and post sale by responding to all inbound client queries
  • Monitor the customer experience to ensure that customers are treated fairly in line with L&G’s TCF policy and that customer feedback is passed to the relevant areas.

Experience

  • Previous Financial Services experience
  • Previous experience working with Pension Investment clients
  • Experience working with Retail Investments
  • A strong track record of working in a client service role

Product Knowledge: Strong Investment and Pension product knowledge (particularly DC pensions) as well as strong knowledge of L&G Investments’ unit trust range

Process: Good understanding of investment processes and philosophies

Industry awareness: Market and competitor knowledge

Systems: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Microsoft Office, Lipper, Salesforce / Financial Clarity (CRM)

Customer service: Excellent customer service skills combined with a confident telephone manner

Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Organisation: Comfortable organising meetings, managing CRM and e-mail flow
