Be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial and management information for all Real Assets.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial and management information for all Real Assets

entities including LGP, RAO, CLL and Real Assets Hold Co

2. Be responsible for preparing primary financial statements, board reports and other management information.

3. Provide various returns within specified deadlines, e.g. VAT, Corporation Tax, FCA, AIFMD as required.

4. Be responsible for budgeting and forecasting for all operational entities and deputise for the Real Assets

Corporate Accounting Controller

5. Adhere to established corporate policies and reporting standards and update as necessary

6. Provide monthly or quarterly MI packs to various boards as requested.

Taking a key role in standard financial activities for 4 corporate entities

Qualified accountant 

Management Information

- Produce LGP, RAO and CLL Monthly accounting and reporting

- Be responsible for Real Assets Plan/Budget Process and co-ordinate all inputs into process

- Calculation of Real Assets Quarterly Profit Reforecast based on on-going activity

- Monthly profit forecast for LGIM Directors with variance analysis

- Monthly profit, revenue and expense analysis for Real Assets directors with informed analysis

- Quarterly Real Assets Hold Co, LGP, RAO, CLL and LGIM Board Reports including design of format

- Liaison with LGIM over various reporting issues.

- Quarterly LGIM returns to supply data for

Operational Activities

- Co-ordinate and account for Private Credit transactions 

- Credit control around payment of fee invoices - LGP and RAO

- Calculation and issuing of invoices for internal funds, Annuity fund and Life Fund

- Issuing Quarterly management fee invoices on a timely basis - External Funds

Statutory Reporting

- Quarterly VAT returns - LGP, RAO and CLL

- FCA returns – Quarterly, Half-yearly and annual

- Preparation of statutory accounts, audit file and deal with audit queries

Transactional Activity

- Anti-Money Laundering Checks

- VAT elections

 

 

- Relevant Degree in Business Related Discipline

- Professional Accounting Qualification, ACA, CIMA or equivalent

- Experience of working in a property background preferred but not essential

- Experience of budgeting and forecasting in a corporate group

- Analytical

- Good Presentation skills (both verbally and using visual aids)

- Advanced Excel

- Investment Industry Knowledge

- Proactive, Positive, enthusiastic approach

- Ability to work accurately and to tight deadlines

- Keen eye for detail and a professional approach to all tasks.

- Knowledge of SUN/VISION accounting systems is advantageous
