Development and support of in-house Excel/VBA , C#/.NET and SQL Server applications

  • Development of C#/.NET/Excel/VBA/SQLServer applications.
  • Compliance with LGIM code quality measurements, and industry best practice
  • Documentation of practice, processes and software.
  • Ensure proper implementation of changes in accordance with agreed Change Management procedures.

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent experience are preferred as minimum.

Experience (Mandatory)

  • Extensive experience of Microsoft development tools, in particular:
  • Excel VBA application development
  • C#/.NET (Visual Studio 2010 or later)
  • SQL Server 2010 or later
  • Subversion (SVN)
  • Experience in an Investment Management environment
  • Liaison with end users, business analysts and QA analysts
  • Experience of building business critical desktop systems.
  • Adaptive personality, can cope with rapid and varied changes in priorities and comfortable dealing with all levels of the business.

Experience (Desirable)

  • Excel-DNA (Very desirable)
  • Excel addin development
  • Desk-side Support experience
  • Certifications and development courses especially .NET
