Provide high quality design service, in-line with brand guidelines to LGIM

Work as part of the Marketing Services team, which provides advertising, design, production and presentation services to the business.

The role is split between advertising and brand management.

Advertising requirements cover the planning, execution and delivery of advertising campaigns. This involves working with our media planners, buyers and creative agency, and with various internal teams including investment, client facing, corporate comms and media relations. Experience of using HTML 5 banner creation tools via ad-serving platforms such as Flashtalking and Double Click.

The role is responsible for bringing the LGIM brand to life, ensuring that we follow the brand guidelines and championing the brand across the business. You will be required to manage brand projects as they arise. You will cover the Head of Brand role as required.

Represent LGIM at group brand forums and workshops.

Design skills are an advantage to assist the design team on various marketing materials if required.

Key Post Accountabilities

  • Plan, co-ordinate and deliver effective Institutional, Retail, International and Insurance advertising campaigns, in the UK and Europe
  • Build strong working partnerships with our lead creative agency, media buyers and other agencies as appropriate, ensuring that business needs are consistently met
  • Management of the creative and advertising budgets
  • Apply and champion LGIM’s brand across all marketing activities
  • Provide high quality design service, in-line with brand guidelines to LGIM
  • Ensure that our visual identity is successfully presented at all LGIM events
  • Support the management of our relationship with our media agency, ensuring that business needs are consistently met
  • Utilise brand and campaign tracking initiatives where appropriate
  • Support the Head of Brand and Marketing Services on key projects as required
  • Build successful relationships across Distribution and with investment teams
  • Be an active participant in the group marketing activities and forums where relevant
  • Work closely with the Group Brand team on the brand review process
  • Deputise for  the Head of Brand

Profile of candidate – Experience:

  • Proven experience in managing advertising campaigns
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – in particular InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Able to create effective briefs and manage the creative process through to concept and execution
  • Advanced knowledge of print and online production process
  • Advertising planning experience in asset management across Retail, Institutional, International and Insurance
  • Understanding and application of brand guidelines
  • Proven design capability across a range of marketing collateral
  • Marketing project management experience
  • Understanding of appropriate marketing promotions regulations within asset management and/or financial services
  • Proven ability to build successful working relationships with agencies and suppliers, and drive their performance
  • Sound understanding of UK investment industry, financial markets, products and services
  • Able to converse and liaise with people at all levels
  • Able to multi-task / good organisational skills
